How I found out about Fragile Dreams in 2010

Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon is one of my favourite games, the other being The Legend of Zelda. Below is a silly, but heartfelt story of how I found out about this game…and that I couldn’t have it.
Photos illustrate my point (a.k.a. photos of me doing weird faces)

Imagine a 15 year old version of me, young and moneyless.
I had this quirk, I bought Shonen Jump every month because I wanted to keep up with the manga, I knew about reading manga online, but I was weird and I had a desire to buy the actual monthly volumes.
One boring May day I bought this magazine.
Now look at it carefully.

‘Oh! Sounds interesting….gmnhgmnhmgnh…Bakuman….mghnmng…ok’
‘Let’s see what’s on the other side…’

‘OH SWEET MOTHER!’
If you know me at all, you know that I am a complete addict and very much in love with post-apocalyptic scenarios, abandoned buildings, Japanese games, sad storylines, interesting characters and beautiful art…well that is one way of describing FRAGILE DREAMS.

‘FOR THE Wii???? I CAN’T HAVE IT!’
At that time, though I could afford a few magazines and books, there was no way I could ever afford a game console or the game itself…that was it.
You cannot even begin to imagine how much I cried…specially after looking up the game on the internet…and the website…damn that website…

‘sobs’
Here is where the happy part of the story starts.
I had a friend that even today really likes games, so when she saw the add for Fragile Dreams she was really interested in it…a few weeks went by and she bought it!! I was really happy because I could watch her play the game and play it myself…HURRAY!

But it’s never quite the same…and that’s why I want to buy it THIS MONTH!
I’m definitely doing this, a dream come true!!!

I cried so much over thisssssss

I HOPE IT DOESN’T SELL OUT!!! I WANT IT LIKE I NEED FOOD TO LIIIVE!

The End ~
